stillness

I am back. It has been a few weeks since I last wrote something.
Christmas is happening in the US right now and is over in Australia.
I could feel the peace in the air yesterday as Stan and I walked around the lake where we live.
There was a sweetness around and I found myself breathing very deeply to take it all in.
This is a good time to stop and be still as often as we can. To smell the flowers, to be in the moment and feel all that is taking place around us. To just BE.
I remember doing a 10 day silent meditation years ago and after the 5th day, my mind became still. I would sit for hours looking at bees taking the polen from the flowers. I could really taste my food and savored every bite.
I encourage all of us to take more time to do nothing and just be still. To listen to that still small voice within speaking to us. To just breathe.

asking for help and support

It is so important to ask for help and support when we need it. We are not meant to do it all by ourselves.
The universe cannot help us if we do not ask for it.
What stops us from asking for help? feelings of not being good enough or worthy?
If you are someone who finds it very challenging to ask for help, then this is what you are here to master.
Begin today to make it ok for yourself to ask for help.
Work on changing those thoughts and beliefs of not being worthy, to
I AM WORTHY AND IT IS GOOD FOR ME TO ASK FOR HELP

I DESERVE TO BE SUPPORTED AND THE UNIVERSE WANTS TO SUPPORT ME

You will be amazed at how much support is out there if you are just willing to ask and then to recieve it.
Keep affirming how deserving you are and that the universe wants to help you.

letting go of the year

Hi
This is a great time to do an end of year ritual. Take some time to write or meditate on this past year and all that has taken place.
  • What are some of the good things that come into your awareness that happened?
  • What are some of the more challenging things?
  • What do you want to let go of now? Maybe it is not doing enough good things for you or not taking good care of your body or being afraid ???
What did you learn about your self this year?
  • How have you changed and grown?
  • What are most proud of yourself for this year?
  • What are you most grateful for?
What are you wanting to create now for 2012?

What you think about now and what you focus on now will create what happens in the future.
Where are you putting your focus and energy?
Make sure it is on what you want!!!!

I know for me personally, probably one of the best things was our move to the lake house and living in nature. I love walking around the lake each day and taking my dog for a walk. Life just seems simplier.
I am also grateful for the new people that have joined our spiritual community and for the new musician and singers. I am grateful for all the help I got this year with putting up my talks, our music and whatever else was needed.

All is good, All is alright

"When you want to feel good, feel grateful"

Growth comes from sitting in the uncomfortable – what does this mean to you?
How can we know that all is good and really believe it?
It is so easy to get caught up in wondering and questioning what is happening when things are not going the way we want or when nothing seems to be changing and we are doing our prayers and affirmations.
The first thing the mind wants to go to is the negative…this is not working. What am I doing wrong, fill in the blank for you. What does your mind do?______________________________________________________
We must become the masters of our mind and trust in the perfect unfoldment that is always happening. We must hold that place of faith and knowing when the ego falls short.
Ernest Holmes says in his book This thing called you:
Your faith can penetrate clouds of unbelief and reveal the Truth which is forever perfect. Imagine yourself looking at the picture of a beautiful landscape. In this picture there are trees, a house, a stream of water, a beautiful meadow and in the background, mountains and blue sky dotted with clouds. You look at it long, contemplating its beauty. Now suppose that a colored glass is placed between you and the picture that the picture appears blurred. Everything seems distorted and yet nothing has happened to the picture. It is your business to remove the colored glass. Because the picture is still there on the wall , it still may be seen.

It is so important to believe and affirm that no matter what the appearance is, there is so much more happening than we can see in the moment. Whatever we can believe, we can see and we can create.

We must all learn to surrender and to trust more deeply.  The egoic mind has a challenging time with this one….but our soul knows this truth.

James Van Praagh
As much as we may try to will things to happen, we must learn to let go and allow spirit to do its part.

Peace and blessings, Laurie

5 steps to weight loss without dieting

This is a very different type of message. It is not about any type of diet but more about
our emotions and holding onto feelings of grief, guilt, resentment and fear and how they affect our body and our weight. It is important to look deeper into the reasons behind our weight gain or being overweight.
The question to ask is What burdens am I holding onto that I need to release?
What am I worried about? Let go of worries you have no control over so they do not weigh you down.

I had a client years ago who during our session together got in touch with some deep grief about a miscarriage she had years before. She was able to cry and release the old grief that had been held within her body and being for so many years. At the end of the session when she got up, she not only felt so much better and happier  within her, she also noticed that her pants were one size bigger than they were when she lied down on my table an hour earlier. She had shed the weight she was carrying that was tied into the loss of her unborn child.
Here are some of my steps for shedding some of the extra "weight".

#1
EXPRESS HOW YOU ARE FEELING AND GET IT OUT. It is so important to acknowledge how we are feeling and get the emotional energy to move out of the body - especially grief and sadness. It is ok to cry and to be vulnerable. If you are feeling angry or frustrated and cant speak about it, write it out, or exercise it out. Find someone to first acknowledge how you are feeling and then release it. Do not give it any power. We give our emotions a lot of power; especially FEAR and it can sometimes control our life and affect our health and our Spirit.  The more emotional blockages we have in our bodies, the more weight we can hold onto.
Be grateful each day for your each part of your body and for all you have in your life.

# 2
BE AWARE OF WHAT YOU ARE EATING AND WHAT YOUR BODY IS NEEDING.
So often we actually eat foods that our body does not want and that we are allergic to. If you feel tired after eating something that is a good sign that your body is not getting the nourishment from that particular food. Eat in moderation and most importantly do not over eat. The amount of food we eat, can really make a difference to how we feel and what our weight is.

#3
MOVE YOUR BODY. Make sure you do some kind of movement every day. It can be walking, yoga, stretching, swimming, dancing etc. Our bodies need to move and stretch. Have fun with it. Exercise with someone or whatever works for you. If you’re sitting watching television, do some stretching or some kind of movement while sitting on the couch.

# 3
BREATHE DEEPLY. Take several deep breaths many times a day. Become more aware of how you breathe and getting more life force energy into your being. Breathe into your belly, move the breath up to your diaphragm, then up to your collarbone and breathe out fully. Breathe in peace, breathe out stress. Breathe in good health and breathe out negativity. Breathe in love and breathe out fear.

# 4
LOVE AND ACCEPT YOUR SELF. Forgive yourself and start to make peace with you and with your past. This is one way to start building and enhancing our self esteem and self worth. Most of us hold so much hatred and judgment against ourselves. This does not allow us to love ourselves or feel light inside. Start today to make peace with yourself and do your best to start to experience your self in a new way. One step at a time. Start with talking to you in the mirror and affirming that you are a good person. Remember to be kind to you every day. Be your own best friend.

# 5
DO SOMETHING YOU ENJOY. Be creative. Take time each day to do something you enjoy that makes you happy. Maybe it is to paint or garden or read a book. Get more in touch with what you enjoy. This makes us feel good inside and helps us to be lighter and more joyful.

I hope these help you to feel lighter from the inside out.

Living well through cancer

Overcoming and living well through cancer
This is such an important topic for this time. We all seem to know someone who has had cancer or have had it ourselves.
I had thyroid cancer 6 years ago and it has been an amazing journey through it all. So how do we live well through cancer?
I now what a  scary time it can be, and how helpless we can feel. I was certainly there. I want to share some positive steps to moving through this experience and what helped me so much.
It is and can be an opportunity to change old patterns and habits that do not support us, like our diets. I feel any time we get sick or get injured it is a good time to take stock of our life and see what is working and what is not. To look at how we can make positive change.
One of the most valuable blessings that can come out of having cancer is It is also a time to love ourselves more and let people love us and be there for us.
It is a opportunity to STOP and not be so busy.
Here are a few of my steps to living well through cancer:
Look for the blessings in this situation and focus on them.
Ask your body what it needs daily and begin to build a relationship from the inside out.
Eat organic and healthy and fresh foods daily.
Cut back on caffiene, sugar and heavy foods.
Laugh more
Change your PH so it is more alkaline. You can check out your ph levels by buying ph strips at the pharmacy. Drinking water with lemon can help to make your ph more alkaline.
Take time to meditate and do what you love every day. Find ways to feed your body, mind and soul.
Feel grateful for what you do have in your life; every day!!!, every moment even...
Forgive yourself and others from the past, so you can be more present now.
Let go of anger, worry, resentment and guilt NOW.
Do not sweat the small stuff.
And most importantly: Be patient and loving with yourself.

Release Stress and feel happier and healthier

In this time of change and new energy on the planet it more important than ever to look after ourselves on every level on a daily basis and create new habits and patterns.

5 steps to release stress and feel healthier and happier
 1. Breathe deeply. As if your life depended on it; because it does. When we are stressed, our breathing gets more shallow. It is important every day to practice breathing deeply. Your breathing needs to become more conscious in order to change the pattern.

2. Stretch and move your body every day. Do yoga or some sort of exercise that is good for body, mind and soul. Spinal twists are good way to release tension, stress and feel healthier.

3. Acu-tapping your stress away - from my book, Spiritual Medicine. Standing up and using your finger tips to tap your whole body from head to toe. This helps open the meridians, release stress and tension, gets the energy flowing better and helps all the systems of the body.

4. Do not take things to seriously. Lighten UP. Practice each day to let go of worrying about things that are not in your control. Laugh more and sweat more as my yoga teacher always says. Let go of taking on the energy of others and the planet...Release energy that is not yours.

5. Spend time each day being still and turning within and coming back to you.
Make your body, mind and soul a priority every day. Ask for help and support when you need it.

more to come...

staying healthy

Hi,
I am giving some free talks at our local library coming up in a few weeks and one is on the topic of
health and staying healthy. Staying healthy means so much more than just our body. Staying healthy takes in our mental outlook, our emotions, our body and our SPIRIT.
We have to consider and look after all of these aspects of ourselves.
It is always helpful to ask the question: "which part of me is needing more care and more attention right now"
You can always take a piece of paper and make 4 sections - body, mind, spirit, emotion.
List under each one how you feel you are doing in that area? Do you feel that area is in balance right now?
Write down what support do you need to give each area?

Under body it is vital to look at your diet, nutrition, are you breathing deeply, do you do regular exercise, stretching, yoga, etc. and list what you can do to become healthier.

Under emotions include how you are feeling and if there are any emotions you have pushed down. Also look at who you need to forgive. Do you laugh daily? if not, add this into your list for staying healthy.

Under Spiritual, do you have a daily spiritual practice? Do you take some time ech day to feed and nurture your soul?

Under Mind - look at your thoughts and self talk. What are you putting your attention and focus on right now? Where do you need to put your focus in order to stay healthy and happy?

This is a good start....let me know how you go. I want to hear from you....

taking the high road - trust, trust, trust

Hi and blessings,

What does it mean to you to take the high road?

We have a choice every moment whether to take the high road or not, whether to TRUST or not. We do this by our thoughts, actions, behaviors, beliefs, etc.
We take the high road by getting out of our way, moving out of fear and judgment.
We choose the high road by being willing to trust in ourselves, our intuition and in the unknown. To know that we are being supported no matter what.
We chose the high road when we do not settle for less than what we deserve.
This is in relationships, work, vacations, where we live, etc.
We choose the high road when we have a daily spiritual practice of meditation, affirmative prayer and being still.
We choose the high road when we are in control of our thoughts and shifting the negative self talk to positive.
We choose the high road when we surrender, let go of judgment and turn things over to the creator.
We take the high road when we are loving and kind to ourselves and others.
We take the high road when we bless every cell and send love and appreciation to our body.
We take the high road when we do not gossip and do not go into reaction.
We take the high road when we let go of our need to be right and to be in control.
We choose the high road when we forgive ourselves and others.
We choose the high road when we take responsibility for our actions.
We choose the high road when we love unconditionally.
We choose the high road when we listen and speak our truth.

Write your thoughts down:
I take the high road when______________________________________________________________

Transformation

Hi
I love the meaning and word transformation. It is a constant on this spiritual path for all of us. All we have to do is look at nature to see how things are constantly transforming and changing.

So what is transformation?

How does one Transform?

These are questions many people have asked me and I have certainly asked myself these same questions over the years. I always think of transformation as a moving forward process of change. As we move forward we transform and change into something new.
Transformation is certainly a choice that we as human beings make. We can choose to stay the same or we can choose to continue to grow and experience our life to the fullest. This involves stepping out and taking risks in order to transform ones life.

I remember hearing a wonderful speaker talk and he said, “Isn’t it a miracle that God could make a worm fly”. I was in awe as I thought of
the transformation it takes for a worm to turn into a beautiful butterfly and be able to fly so gracefully. When I see a butterfly and appreciate it’s beauty, I forget sometimes what it took for it to get there.

Lets look at the word, Transform. I have broken each letter down as my definition of my meaning of transformation. You can certainly make up your own as well.
T = Trust.

This is trust of self, others and trust in Spirit/God or whatever you call the source. Trust is such an important part of transformation. Without trust we are usually too afraid to move forward and to make any positive changes in our life. Trust in the good times as well as times of struggle.
R = Renewal.

This is about how our cells are constantly renewing and through our mind and thought processes we can continue to renew ourselves in the most positive and uplifting way. It is important to be aware of our thoughts and letting go of the ones that do not support our life. Take the time to rest and renew your body daily.
A = Abundance.

This is about creating all the love, joy, peace, money flow that we can ever imagine. As the bible says “ God wants to give us the kingdom”
and all we have to do is give ourselves permission and know that we deserve good things in our life. Flow is always happening and we can join in to whatever degree we feel we deserve and are will to receive.
N = Now & creating new beginnings.

This is about living in the moment. We can spend so much time living and expending our energy in the past and in the future and forget about really enjoying the present moment.

What if you could think of each present moment as a new beginning?
How would your life be then?
S = Surrender & letting go.

Surrender is such an important part of transformation and a challenge for so many of us. We may think we are letting go, but are we really.
It is hard sometimes for our minds to really let go and to trust in the process of life. One of the sayings that has helped me so much in my
life is “I Let go and let God”.  Turnover to the Divine whatever feels too heavy for you or too much of a burden. Give it up and give your self permission to be lighter and not carry energy that is not yours.
F = Fulfillment.

This is about being truly grateful for our life and all that we have. We feel fulfilled and transformed when we can accept and appreciate ourselves, others and our life more rather than being in judgmental. Fulfillment comes from the inside out. It is not about how much we have
materialistically, but rather about what is in our heart and how we share our love with others.
O = Opportunity to grow and be more of who you truly are.

This is what transformation is all about. Through change and transformation we are able to grow and become more of who we are and to live our spiritual purpose here. Keep an acknowledgement and gratitude journal and write down all you  have achieved and acknowledge yourself for the courageous person you are. Write down daily what you are grateful for.
R = Relationship with yourself and others.

We are here to learn how to be in relationship with ourselves and with others. Transformation begins when we become more aware of our relationships and actively choose to take the steps to make them more loving and healthier. Let people know how you feel about them and share from your heart.
M =Momentum & movement.

This is all about moving forward and letting go of fear and doubt so that we can “ fly”. Whenever we feel stuck in our life, it helps to get up
and physically move our body, either by exercising, changing our posture or doing something different. This helps break the pattern and
helps the energy to flow again.

All of these are parts of the process of transformation. Enjoy the wonderful changes that are always happening and embrace who you are and who you are becoming.

What is calling us?

What is calling to us, individually and as a whole?
How can we move forward in our lives?
How can we all keep our energy clear and not get affected by what is happening around us?

We are in a very big time of change and transformation on the planet and are all being called to
look within and find ways to stay as balanced as possible through the storm.
We look around and so many people are suffering, going through challenging times with cancer and other
illnesses and in so much fear of losing everything.
I am reminded to constantly keep things simple and not jump ahead too far or get into
worry, but stay anchored in the knowing that all is unfolding in a Divine Way.

The questions to ask and contemplate on is: How can I serve?
What can I do today that feeds my soul and makes me feel good?

If you know someone hurting or sick, send them love and light and see the highest happening for them.
It really helps to hold eachother in love, prayer and truth. This is the greatest gift we can give.
Keep letting go of clutter in your mind, house, office, car and take time to just BE without having to do something all the time.
Turn off the tv and just listen to the sounds of nature around you or just no sound at all.
Remember to keep taking deep and full breaths, to laugh daily, to do some kind of body movement and to lighten up.
More to come...

Emotional Intuititve

What is an Emotional Intuitive?

I have been an emotional intuitive all my life. What does this mean exactly?
I have always known instinctively and felt in my body what emotions people were feeling and where they were holding emotions in their body.
I never quite understood this gift and thought there was something wrong with me. It was hard in the beginning to determine what was my energy and what was not mine but energy I was carrying from others.  As you  can imagine, this caused a lot of undue pain in me until I understood it and released the energy  that was not mine.

It is important to remember that emotions that get locked in the body and are not acknowledged or expressed can eventually cause disease, chronic illness, pain, low self esteem, behavior changes, fatigue and imbalance.
The starting place is to ask the following questions and write down what comes up.
  • In what ways do you express your feelings?
  • Do you feel like there is something blocking you in your life?
  • What old emotional burdens are you carrying from the past?
In order to feel free in our lives and to be able to move forward, it is important to  express how we are feeling,  forgive ourselves and others and to make peace with the past.
This may seem like a difficult task to accomplish and it starts with the intention and expanding your awareness and believing that you can!

Ask yourself and get in touch with the following:
  • What emotions am I carrying in my body?
  • Who do I need to forgive?
  • Am I carrying any old resentment toward myself or any one  else?
As we become more aware and acknowledge what is there; we are more able to let it go.
You may want to write down your feelings to get them out and then rip it up and take a step each day to forgiving your self and others. This is the best way to start to be more present and live in the NOW! Spend time each day forgiving yourself and others for the past. It is one step at a time. It is the movement forward that counts....

Ritual

Hi
I wanted to share about the importance of ritual in our lives. I have always loved rituals and making them up for myself and others. I believe when we create rituals they add more meaning and purpose to our life and to whatever we are doing. In our society today we have lost our sense of importance through our busy lives and the lack of ritual. For the indigenous people, and for many cultures; rituals are a very important part of every day life.
I became a celebrant because I love creating spiritual ceremonies and rituals that are aligned with peoples hearts and souls.
My dear friend Lisa has asked me to plan some rituals for her upcoming 40th birthday. I know what is important to her so it becomes easy to allow the ceremony and ritual to unfold and be created. I will share what I have come up with for her after her birthday...stay tuned.
You can also practice creating a ritual for your self or a loved one. Think about what is important to you. Maybe you love nature and spending time there and that feeds your body and soul. You can do your ritual out in nature and bless all the flowers, trees, plants, the earth, sky etc. and ask what message nature has for you and spend time listening and sending your energy to the earth. What blessings do you want to give back to nature?
Having candles in your home and lighting them daily before you meditate or eat a meal and feel the blessing there for you. Ask you light the candle ask for whatever you want illuminated in your life to show up. Send a blessing and prayer out to you or anyone in need of healing.
I have always enjoyed doing house blessings clearing energy rituals for people and there living and work spaces. This also clears old energy and allows new opportunities and creativity to unfold in a divine way.
I would love to hear some of the rituals you love to partake in and ideas you may have for creating rituals in your life.
Peace and blessings, Laurie

3 steps to living a more prosperous life - part 1

"Prosperity begins with feeling good about ourselves" Louise Hay
This is so true as prosperity is a consciousness. It is a belief and feeling of things flowing in our life.
When we feel prosperous we feel abundant and joyful. Prosperity is not just about having money. It is about having more joy, love, success, health, grace, spiritual connection etc. This is what Spirit wants for us.

I was listening to a Louise Hay's dvd on prosperity and she mentioned 3 keys to having a more prosperous life. They are allowing, accepting and deserving.  In order to do this we must acknowledge and release guilt, fear, unforgiveness and build up our ability to trust and believe in ourselves and the Universe.

Step OneLooking within - What areas of your life are prosperous and which ones are not?
Start looking at your fears and beliefs around prosperity. What did you learn from your family growing up?
Write them down and look at where they have come from.
Write down all the areas of your life and explore what beliefs and thoughts are there around being abundant and prosperous. When fear thoughts come up, bless them and do not give them power. Give power to the thoughts that support and empower you.
Begin to change them by affirming what you want instead of what you do not want.
Start to affirm daily that you deserve and accept good in your life and you are open to receive!

Remember that no one determines our self worth but us!

Step two - Loving you more. Look at ways you are not loving yourself right now and start to do something more loving each day for you, like taking time to eat healthier, buying a special shampoo for your hair, reading your favorite book, listening to beautiful uplifting music, getting exercise regularly, making time for you; etc.
What self talk do you say to yourself?
How often do you criticise and judge yourself?
Make a commitment each day to do one thing at least that is loving, nurturing  and supportive to you.
How can you make yourself more of a priority?
If you are thinking thoughts or about to take an action that is not going to support the whole of you, stop and ask yourself: Is doing this action or thinking this thought; loving me? If not, do something that is.
Become more conscious of how to love you more. Bless yourself on a daily basis. Look in the mirror and see the beautiful soul looking back at you.
You are a Divine Creation of God!

Step three - Having a forgiving heart. It is hard to create a prosperity consciousness when we are holding on to past hurts and unforgiveness. Forgiveness is a daily practice and begins with self as always.
Write down or think about what you need to forgive yourself for and what you are still holding onto from the past. What are you getting by holding on to the past?
How is that affecting your prosperity and abundance now?
When we forgive ourselves and others we expand our heart and consciousness. We begin to vibrate at a higher frequency and in turn create more good in our lives.
A great meditation is to contemplate on  asking and receiving forgiveness for everything you have ever done to harm others and for anything anyone has done to harm you.

Affirm daily: I open my heart and mind to forgive myself and others for anything that may have happened in the past and move forward with Love and Acceptance. I deserve to be happy and joyful and to share that with others. I forgive myself and I dwell in love and light and the truth of Spirit. AND So It Is

5 important steps to weight loss

Hi
I wanted to share about a subject that is so vital to our health and wellbeing. It is something that I feel so passionate about helping empower people with. I am speaking of the epidemic of over eating and obesity.
I see all the diets that are out there and the struggles that people have with their weight. I believe that so much about eating is emotional and behavioral. We eat alot of the time to stuff down how we are feeling and we eat to feel better about ourselves. This is really a never ending battle. I know I have been there. I never had a big weight problem but I did binge eat sugars as a way to stuff down how I was feeling.

I believe that if we felt good about ourselves and had good self esteem and felt connected spiritually we would not over eat so much and we would take better care of ourselves.

Here are my 5 steps to weight loss and to feeling better about ourselves.

Step 1 - Look at your beliefs, emotions and  habits around food and how you feel about yourself.
What did you learn about food growing up?
What emotion or emotions drive you to eat? Is it fear, guilt, shame, anger, grief?
How would you rate your self esteem 1-10.
One being the lowest and 10 being the highest. Where is your self esteem and self worth at this moment?
The more conscious we are about our habits and beliefs the easier it is to change them.

Step 2 - Forgiveness. This plays a big role in how much we hold onto the past and onto our old eating habits. We can go on all the diets in the world and if we have not forgiven ourselves and others than we tend to go right back into old eating habits and gaining weight.
Think about who you need to forgive?
What do you need to forgive yourself for?
What are you holding onto from the past?
A good starting place is to write a letter or letters to all those you need to forgive. Remember forgiveness is for you to let go and beable to move forward from a  healthier and happier place.
Write a letter to your self and list all the things you want to forgive  yourself for.

Step 3 - Clean out the clutter in your home, car, office. Throw away things you no longer wear or need. Clean out your kitchen of old food and food that is not good for you. We need to let the energy move. So many of us are hoarders and stuck in the past. This is a good place to start. Get Support.  Ask family and friends to help you do this as it can seem overwhelming.

Step 4 - Let go of emotions. Give your self permission to have  a good cry and acknowledge how you are feeling. People experience so many losses in life and don\t always get a chance to grieve them. So the emotions like food just gets stuffed down and we find we get heavier and more weighted down.
This is so vital for our health and wellbeing to cry and grieve. Think about all the losses you have experienced in your life and let yourself feel the emotions that are there.

Step 5 - Reconnect Spiritually - So often we eat and have trouble loosing weight because we feel so disconnected spiritually. If this is the case for you, take time each day to stop and reconnect  to God and Spirit and your own heart and soul in whatever way works for you. It might be to put on beautiful music, go to church, go in nature, meditate, pray, read spirit books etc.
It is so important to feed and nurture our body and soul on a daily basis.

I would love to hear from you. I am available for phone as well as in person coaching and healing sessions.

Life's wonder

Peace and blessings,
I wanted to write about the cycle of life and all its beauty.
I am back in the US visiting my family and we had a beautiful gathering a week ago where
all the family came together to eat, laugh and share. My uncle Jules who had been very ill came as well. He wanted to be with everyone. I was so grateful to see him. I remember being in the room with everyone and feeling how important it is to stay in the moment and be in the wonder and love that each second can bring.
My Uncle Jules died one week later and my heart is filled with sadness and deep gratitude. I am reminded about how precious life is and how to appreciate each moment. We never know when our time is and all we have is now.
Live life fully. Love life fully. This is how my Uncle lived his life. This is the message for all of us. Don't hold onto the past or things that do not matter. Embrace the good and the beauty that is all around us.
Affirmation: Today I choose to live life fully and to love fully. I see the beauty and wonder all around me. And So It Is!

5 Ways to Embrace Change

Hi
Here are my 5 steps for positively dealing with change. Change is constantly happening. Just when we think things are one way it changes. Some changes we are in control of for example, changing jobs, moving house, while others we have no contol over like someone we love dying or a natural disasters.
For so many of us, change can be very challenging.
I hope these 5 steps help you to better handle changes in your life and start to see them in a different way.

Step 1 - Change your thinking -  Start to change your attitude and thinking toward change and practice seeing it as an opportunity to grow and something to embrace rather than fear. Ask your self what is the blessing from this time of change and start to open up to seeing it as a blessing instead of a curse. Remember the old saying - when one door closes, another one opens.

Step 2 - Being Grateful - Go into gratitude for what you have right now instead of what you had before or could of had. Try to stay in the present as much as possible. We tend to dwell on the past or worry about the future when things are changing.  Keep bringing your self back to the NOW and gratitude can help you to do this!

Step 3 -  Let yourself grieve - If someone close to you has died or is no longer in your life, the most important thing is to let your self grieve and to express and acknowledge those feelings. So many of us never get the opportunity to grieve and when the next loss happens it feels even more painful. Get support and ask for help when you need it. Share with someone how you are feeling. Sometimes just expressing what we are feeling and having someone listen to us can help so much. It is also important to acknowlege our feelings and to grieve when things change in our life. When we grieve our heart can open again.

Step 4 - Celebrate the changes! I know this may sound a bit strange and difficult depending on what has changed but again it is all about having a new perspective on change. It is a wonderful spiritual practice to let go and Let God. When we celebrate something we open to the moment and see the wonder and excitement like a child would. Practice letting go of old pictures and seeing change as something new and affirm that
all is unfolding in a Divine Way now and always; because it is.

Step 5 - Acknowledge yourself for your courage and willingness to grow, learn and be more of who you are. Change helps us to do that. If things stayed the same all the time, it would not encourage us to gorw and expand. Tell your self 3 things right now you are proud of you for and then share them with your loved ones.
I would love to hear them too!

Victim Consciousness

I am reminded of how many people including myself have experienced a degree of victim consciousness.
It can be quite easy at times to fall back into it and be at "its" mercy. When we are feeling like a victim it is done to us and we do not have to be responsible for our life and our decisions. It certainly does not empower us and only disempowers.
In our human experience we have all suffered at times and the spiritual journey is to recognise, embrace and accept all of us and to grow as a person and spiritual being. We are here to remember who we truly are!
One of the keys to shifting out of the victim consciousness and move up the scale to a higher level of spiritual growth is to forgive. Forgiveness is a powerful practice and it takes practice to let go, trust, and to let our hearts be healed and opened. It is difficult to move forward from an empowered place when we have not forgiven ourselves or others.
Take the time to contemplate on this and practice forgiveness and know how powerful and amazing you are and we all are!
We are only victims if we THINK we are. It is not who we are. We are all made in the image and likeness of GOD.
Affirmation: I am one with Spirit and I move forward from a loving and forgiving heart, releasing the past and know that I create wonderful things in my life now!
And so it is

simplicity

As I was thinking about my next message and blog, the word SIMPLICITY came to my mind.
It is a powerful word and meaning. Simplicity. What comes to mind when you say that word to yourself?
For me to brings me back to Keep It Simple, simplfy things. It is so easy for us humans to make things so difficult and dramatic. We can sometimes forget the simple things in life.
This is my message to stop and look at ways to simplifly your life.
Maybe it starts with decluttering your home, office, car and mind. Throwing or giving things away that you do not use and no longer serve you. This includes our thoughts as well. Not dwelling on the negative or problem, but focusing on the opportunity, positivity and divine solution.
It might be to just stop for a few minutes a day to be still, breathe and look at the beauty of nature around you.
I would love to  hear the ways you simplify your life.
Till next time

body/emotion connection

Hi
I have been so facinated with the connection between our body and our emotions most of my life and as an emotional intuitive I have been able to know and sense where people are holding emotions and blockages in their bodies. I have been so blessed to be able to help people to release these and get in touch with what they were feeling so the energy can move.
If you are feeling pain or are not feeling well, give your self permission to be still and start to contemplate and explore the emotional connection.
What is the emotion or feeling in your body?
What is the message it has for you?
What emotions are you holding in your body?

It may start to bring it up to the surface once you bring your focus on it.
It is so important for our health and wellbeing to send loving energy and light into our bodies and to
come into alignment on all levels; emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.
See my book, Spiritual Medicine for more on this connection.
For example if you are having any kind of chest or lung difficulty, check inside to see if there is any old grief or loss you are feeling or holding onto from the past.
We all have so many things that happen in our lifetime that we need to grieve and let go of.

I offer phone as well as inperson sessions for healing and clearing.

I hope this starts you on your journey and more to come

women being there for each other

Hi
We had our second womens group today and I am grateful  to know that women can be there
for eachother unconditionally. I did not grow up being supported by my girl friends and never felt like I fit in, but I know now that it is so important for women to listen to each other and really be there as a support system.
We need to talk, share and to be heard.
This "sisterhood" can be a strong foundation for all of us women and make such a difference in all of our lives if we open up to it and to other women.
I never had sisters and now in my 50s feel like I am surrounded by wonderful women who are like sisters to me without all the family stuff that can get in the way.
Thank you to all the women friends in my life for your strength, support and wisdom.

Journey of life

Hi
I have been thinking today about the journey of life. I spent a good many years about 15-20 being in the public eye. I did countless interviews on TV, radio, spoke in front of all size audiences and traveled to many countries teaching and speaking. I had my own radio show in Sydney and my own cable TV show in California. I appeared on major tv shows in Australia, Canada and the US.
I wrote 2 books, Spiritual Medicine and Blessings of Gratitude and did countless book signings and interviews.
I loved it. It was exciting. It felt good to share information and to help others in a bigger way.
Then one day I woke up and found life had changed. I was exhausted and my body needed a rest. Instead of being out there so much, I needed to come back inside and heal.
I had been on my own for so many years during all of this time and then at 47 I met my soul mate and married him. I look back now over the past 7 years and just after we met, I fell apart literally. I got cancer and my emotional state was so up and down. I had trouble coping with any kind of change. I still ran my Spiritual Centre each week. Not sure how I did that, I had Divine Helpers.

Thank you GOD and thank you to my beautiful husband who was there sometimes to pick up the pieces.

I am so grateful for this journey and for the love and support that is always around me.

I am grateful for the gift of coming back to me. I am grateful to GOD for my life.

I am now ready to step out again and be used by Spirit in whatever way I am meant to now.

AND SO IT IS, AND SO I LET IT BE

I say YES to life and YES to being of service to myself and to others.

Peace and blessings, Laurie

5 steps to let go and flow

Think about what stops the flow in your life?

Here are my 5 steps to let go and flow. When we allow the energy to flow in our lives; we feel good!
Practice these regularly to feel more alive, healthy and joyful! Pass them on to others.
These come from my book, Spiritual Medicine.
Peace and blessings, Laurie

#1
DO SOMETHING YOU ENJOY. Take time each day to do something you enjoy that makes you happy. Maybe it is to paint or garden or read a book. Only you know what feeds your soul and makes you feel good! The only restriction on time is the one we place in our minds. Give yourself this gift and see the difference it makes.

# 2
MOVE YOUR BODY. Make sure you do some kind of movement every day. It can be walking, yoga, stretching, swimming, dancing etc. Our body
needs to move and stretch.

# 4
TAKE TIME TO BE. Take time every day to be still and turn within. Come back to you. We are so busy and always doing that our adrenal glands gets very depleted and we can get sick. Make time for you to stop and be still. Go into nature or find a special place to sit for a few minutes every day. Close your eyes and connect back to your self and breathe. Fill your self up with light and love. Send loving energy to every cell in your body. Thank your body for all it does for you. Send loving thoughts and prayers out to all those you love and to the planet.

# 5
EXPRESS HOW YOU ARE FEELING AND GET IT OUT. It is so important to acknowledge how we are feeling and get the emotional energy to move out of the body - especially grief and sadness. It is ok to cry and to be vulnerable. If you are feeling angry or frustrated and cant speak about it, write it out, or exercise it out. Find someone to first acknowledge how you are feeling and then release it. Do not give it any power. We give our emotions a lot of power; especially FEAR and it can sometimes control our life and affect our health and our Spirit.
Be grateful each day for your each part of your body and for all you have in your life.

5 steps to health and wellness

Here are my 5 steps to health and wellness: Practice daily to feel more alive and energized. They are not in any particular order. Just important to do on a regular basis!

Step 1
CHANGE YOUR THINKING. Become aware of your thoughts and instead of focusing on the negative stuff and the things that are not working, focus on the positive. Focus on good health and energy flowing. Make sure you laugh and smile every day. Lighten up. Don't take things so personally. Be kind to you! Stop being so hard on yourself. Each day ask yourself: How can I be more loving to me today?

Step 2
MOVE YOUR BODY. Make sure you do some kind of movement every day. It can be walking, yoga, stretching, swimming, dancing etc. Our body's need to move and stretch. Have fun with it. Exercise with someone or whatever works for you. If your sitting watching television, do some stretching or some kind of movement while sitting on the couch.

Breathe into your belly, move the breathe up to your diaphram, then up to your collarbone and breathe out fully. Breathe in peace, breathe out stress. Breathe in good health and breathe out negativity. Breathe in love and breathe out fear.

Step 4
MEDITATE DAILY. Take time every day to be still and turn within. Come back to you. We are so busy and always doing that our adrenal glands get very depleted. Make time for you to stop and be still. Go into nature or find a special place to sit for a few minutes every day. Close your eyes and connect back to your self  and breathe. Fill your self up with light and love. disappointment

Hi and blessings
It struck me today about how powerful and negative that emotion of disappointment can be if we hold onto it. I know I have felt disappointed so many times in my life. Like any emotion it is good to acknowledge it and then let it go. What we tend to do as humans is to hold onto it for years sometimes and it festures inside of us. This can only cause illness and lack of energy.
I was talking to my husband, Stan this morning and realized I have been disappointed about hm not being a part of our spiritual centre and not wanting to come along to our gatherings. I became so aware of the choice to hold onto the disappointment or just let it go and come back to a loving heart.

The question to keep asking is where do we want to put our energies and vibration?

What happens inside of us when we hold onto disappointment?

Whatever we focus on we create more of the same.
Good one to think about.
What disappointments are you holding onto from the past?
Give yourself permission to let them go today and be free...to open your heart and being to more love and light.

The affirmation for today is: I release the energy of disappointment and I open myself up to be free, happy, loving and know my life is flowing in a Divine Way always!
And So It is

sharing about fear

It is good to have this page to write my thoughts and what I want to share with you.
I always believe that as I share personal and private thoughts I open up the space for others to do the same.
It is interesting to me to watch when fears come up and to see it as a chance to go within and see what I need to do for me.
I have been experiencing some breast tenderness and was not sure if I had felt a lump or just breast tissue. My intuition was guiding me to have an ultrasound and get it checked out. I did this yesterday and they found a small cyst on my left breast. This was not the side I was concerned about. I realized that my attention was being called to my left side - my feminine side and to nurturing myself more and taking better care of me.
Since yesterday I have been watching the fear thoughts come up in my mind about needing to drain it to make sure it is a cyst and to keep practicing breathing deeply and releasing the fear.
I am a firm believer on checking things out and also holding that high knowing of health and wholeness at the same time. This is the life and work of a Spiritual practitioner and Minister.
I am grateful to know that healing is always taking place and that I am and we are each in charge of our own minds and thinking.
My affirmation for today is: I am healed, whole, healthy and grateful for the opportunitys to keep releasing fear and to change the thoughts in my mind to ones that support my highest good. Thank you Spirit for my life.
And So It Is.

Peace and blessings, Laurie

Love the Skin your in

It is amazing how much of the advertising we see and the messages we hear are about looking a certain way. We look at models and actresses and believe that is the way "we are suppose to look", and if we do not look like that then something is wrong or we will not be accepted.
Something is wrong with our society to give out such messages that foster pain and low self-esteem. I have seen so many people unhappy within themselves because their body did not look a certain way and all they wanted was to be was someone else. What a sad waste of precious life that is…Even if they did get their body to look like that it did not make them feel any happier or fulfilled inside. This is because they were not being who they are and that is really all we have.
When I was younger, I wanted my body to look different. The boys all seemed to be interested in my friends and never seemed to notice me. I was flat chested and this made me feel quite different and I started to see myself as unattractive. I remember an experience at camp when I was 11 years old. I had very short hair and had not started to develop yet. I walked into the girl's bathroom and the counselor there said, "I am sorry dear, but the boys bathroom is next store". I was so upset and they tried to make up for this by putting bows in my hair. Needless to say I was humiliated and carried this with me for about 20 years until I began to do a lot of inner healing and belief changing work around seeing my body and myself in a positive and loving way.
We are never too old to make positive changes and feel better about ourselves.
Our self-esteem and self-image is really our foundation for a happy and successful life.
No one can change our beliefs and the way we see ourselves, except for us. If we are unhappy, it is vitally important to address our beliefs, re-educate and look at positive ways to change and lift our own self- esteem and self- image. The truth is that we are all made in the image and likeness of God and Spirit. This is one of the main messages that I have learned from my lessons as a Metaphysical Minister.
If we want things to change, we must start to see ourselves with new glasses and treat ourselves as we would treat a best friend.
It is important to become more aware of the negative and hurtful thoughts that do not support us and to replace them with positive and supportive thoughts, even if we do not believe them at first. This is the way we can begin to change old patterns and to begin to love ourselves more.
It is easier to make positive changes when we are surrounded by positive and supported friends and colleagues that we can talk to and feel safe to be ourselves with. I know that being with loving and supportive people really helped me to lift my self confidence and I began to like myself more and to accept compliments from others.
Each time you look in the mirror, begin to see yourself as beautiful, whole and ok just the way you are. When any other thoughts come up in your mind, release them right away and affirm the positive. Remember that it takes lots of practice, patience and love to change old patterns and our self- image. It can be done and you can do it.
 Peace and Blessings, Laurie

self worth

Divine Blessings to you,
The thought that popped into my mind while making a cup of tea this morning is:
No one determines our self worth except each of us.
This is powerful and empowering as we are the masters of our own minds and we are in charge of our lives not someone else.
No matter how old we are, we have the power to heal, make peace and release the past and change the limiting beliefs and start to see ourselves with new eyes. This is very exciting.
I remember doing a book signing with my book Spiritual Medicine many years back and was talking about self love.
When I finished a women in her 70's started to share with us that at 60 years old she started meditating and doing yoga and every day she looks in the mirror and tells her self "I love you". She then told us that she has a boyfriend as well.
So it is never too old to feel good about who we are and to love and accept ourselves just the way we are.
All it takes is willingness, patience and practice!!!!

Affirmation: Today I am grateful for who I am and celebrate ME!
And so it is!
Peace and blessings, Laurie

Living in Faith

Living in Faith More than ever we need to have faith in something greater than what we can see with our own two eyes. If is so easy to get caught up in the pain and fear of what is going on in the world and not be able to see the bigger picture.
Faith is built upon belief, love, acceptance and trust. Faith is the strongest belief that we can have and it is the energy and vibration that connects and brings us into oneness with ourselves, others and spirit. Faith can feel like it comes and goes at times in our life. The truth is that it is never really gone, it only needs to be rekindled with love, trust, patience, positive thought, prayer and meditation.

Think about the times in your life when you felt a strong faith, a strong knowing and trust in yourself, your life, your spiritual beliefs and your future. It is important to remember that it is always present, even when we cannot feel it. You can always tap into it by being still and calling forth that deep spiritual connection that is always present.

What do we experience when we are not in touch with our faith? Those have been the times for me when I felt the most fearful, alone, depressed and disconnected from myself and from God. Fear can really feel all consuming and at times like we are paralyzed. It is important to remember that fear is only a thought in our minds and it is said to be
"False Evidence Appearing Real".

Dr. Ernest Holmes says in the Science of Mind, "We become conscious of darkness only when we are with out FAITH. For faith is ever the light of our day and the light on our way, making that way clearly visible to us, even when to all others it may be beset with obstacles and the ongoing rough".

To have faith takes an  awareness and a deep trust to keep us in touch with our higher self- connection and to keep growing spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. Having faith helps us to get though rough times, changes and to flow with life much easier.
When ever I feel lost or uncertain of what is ahead, I remember this quote from my book,
Spiritual Medicine:
"When you have come to the edge of all the light you know and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, Faith is knowing two things will happen. You will find something solid to stand on and you will learn how to fly"                     Author unknown

Take time every day to be still and to just be with yourself without having to "DO" anything. In this stillness we can get more in touch with our authentic self and our faith. The more we can create peace inside the more we can help others to do the same. Be the presence you want to see in the world and so it is.

Laurie's tips to help reduce stress, adrenal exhaustion and enhance wellbeing

Hi and blessings
The following stress release and wellness tips are from my book, 'Spiritual Medicine'.
These steps have helped me and others to change our stress habits and avoid adrenal exhaustion and help you if you are going through any type of imbalance to enhance health and wellness:

#1 Practice breathing more deeply, your breath is your life force. Breathing is one of the most unconscious patterns we have and in order to improve our breathing patterns we need to be more aware of them first. Many people I have found breathe very shallow. This puts a lot more stress on the physical body, adrenals and can create more tension, tightness and pain in our body. Begin now to become more aware of how you breathe and especially how you breathe when you are under pressure or concentrating on something. Breathe fully into your belly and then bring your breathe up into your chest; as if you are blowing up 2 balloons. Hold your breath in for a count of 2 and then breathe it out fully. You can imagine breathing in all the good things and breathing out the stress. Continue several times and do as often during the day as you can. You may need to write notes to yourself to be a reminder to breathe.

#2 Laurie's Acu-tapping your stress away technique
Lauries Acu-tapping will help you to release stress, tension, feel more alive and keep your energy moving. You will feel more alert and energised. It is quick, easy to do, and stimulates the organs and blood flow allowing the digestive and lymphatic system, organs and glands to work more effectively. Acu-tapping is great to do at any time, especially first thing in the morning, or in the shower, where it will really wake you up. If you are feelings tired during the day, or after work, spend approximately five minutes doing a full body energy tap to help you re-energize and let go of the pressures of the day. As you do the tapping, send healing energy into your body and remember to breathe fully as you do this exercise. Instead of reaching for another cup of coffee, try acu-tapping.
How to do Acu-tapping
Get in a standing position (works better than sitting).
Use your finger tips (the fleshy parts, not the nails).
Imagine sending loving, healing energy and light to your body as you tap. Notice which spots are sore or tight and breathe more deeply into those areas.
Begin to tap down one arm (front and back).
Move to the other arm and do the hands.
Move up and tap across the chest and diaphragm.
Move down and tap all across the belly.
Move down and tap the pelvis, hips and buttocks.
Move down the legs tapping both sides and the feet and toes (you will need to bend or sit to support your lower back when you do this).
Move up and tap your lower back and move up the back (if you have someone with you get them to tap on either side of the spine where you cannot reach).
Move up to tap your shoulders and neck. Finish tapping your head and face.
Stand for a moment after you finish, close your eyes and notice how you are feeling. Can you feel your body tingling?

Notice how you feel: Do you feel more awake and alert? This is the blood and energy circulating through your body.
Along with Acu-tapping, do some sort of exercise for at least 15-20 minutes every day. This could be anything from walking, stretching, yoga, sport, jogging, swimming, bike riding. Make sure it is something that you enjoy and feel motivated by. Get someone to do it with you as well. This can help us to get more enjoyment out of exercise.

#3 Create  a daily Spiritual Practice. This can include going to Church, Temple, spending time in nature or whatever you can do that reconnects you with your spirit on a regular basis. Take the time to tune into your self daily. Start to build a relationship and rapport with your body by asking it on a daily basis what does it need from you and take the time to be still and listen. Bless, thank and send healing and loving energy to each part of your body on a regular basis. Take the time to meditate, pray and slow your mind down. Be grateful every day for what you have in your life.

#4 Your emotional health directly affects your physical health and wellbeing. Take care of your emotional health by recognizing and expressing how you are feeling and getting it to move. You can express your feelings in many ways such as; writing it out, speaking it out, dancing it out, exercising it out, singing it out, etc.

#5 Your mental health directly affects your physical wellbeing. Stop trying to be perfect. Make sure you spend time laughing, doing the things you enjoy and being creative. Watch your thoughts and stay conscious around your self-talk. If your thoughts are not supporting you positively, change them right away. Become more aware of self criticism and self judgment. What you focus your attention on is what you get. This helps to lessen your stress and tension levels and bring about more peace and balance in your life.
One of the things to ask your self is Am I loving myself by having this thought or taking this action? If the answer is no, then do something or say something that is loving yourself.

#6 What foods are you putting in your body? Become more aware and disciplined about the food you are eating. Spend more time making sure you feed yourself healthy, fresh, organic and nourishing food. Avoid fast food and eating on the run as much as possible. Eat and chew more slowly, so help your system digest better. Either silently or out loud (which ever you prefer), bless your food before you eat it whether it is at home or at restaurants. Keep your body hydrated

#7 Keep your home and work environment free from clutter. Spend the time making sure that your living and working environments support your health and well-being. Be more aware of the radiation and chemicals you use and have around your home. These can certainly affect our health, nervous system and can cause illness.
.
You are worth taking care of. Remember to be GRATEFUL everyday for what you have and for your life. Love and nurture yourself every day. We cannot take care of others unless we are taking care of ourselves first. Our health is one of the most important things we have!!!! Do not take things too seriously - lighten up more and worry less. Have an attitude of gratitude. Be grateful on a daily basis for all you have.

There is no time like the present. Make yourself a priority and take the time daily to replenish and recharge your body, mind, emotions and spirit. Do not wait until exhaustion sets in before you listen to body and take action to do something good for your self.

The body knows how to heal...

Hi and blessings
I wanted to share in this blog about some of the amazing experiences I have had doing my healing
work with others. Over the past 25 years my healing work has culminated into a powerful energy session that clears blockages and brings people back in touch with themselves again on a deep level.

I find that for whatever reason I do not always share some of the extraordinary things that have opened and happened for my clients and so I am sharing a few here now.
These are just a few of the wonderful experiences of healing that is possible. Everything is energy and energy needs to move in order for us to be healthy and vibrant.

I saw one woman who came with a complaint of ear pain. She saw numerous doctors and took many different kinds of medications and nothing seemed to help. She came to me knowing that there was more to be uncovered. I guess I am kind of a spiritual Sherlock Holmes with the body/emotional connection. I have always been an emotional intuitive and so we began her session. I worked with the correspondant meridian points and energy points and got her in touch with some old emotional patterns that were stuck and had to do with her family. She was able to get the connection and in that moment her ear made a loud sound and instantly cleared. She was amazed and so happy that she no longer had pain.

I saw a man in his late 50's who came with the complaint of shingles. They were not going away and he had been out of work for 3 weeks and not improving. He saw Doctors but nothing was helping.
I started to work with him and through the session asked him if whether he had been feeling sad or griefing a loss of some kind. His shingles were on his chest and I felt like alot was blocked in his lung meridian which deals with grief and loss. He sat up amazed and said he had just lost a very dear friend who had died. I asked him if  he had cried and said goodbye to his friend and he said he had not. I suggested he go home and do whatever he needed to do to feel the grief and express it.
He returned a week later and the shingles were completely gone.

I love the saying from Robert Bly "The body cries the tears the eyes never shed".
This is so true and if we do not release the old emotional pain and blockages in our body, it will find
a way to do it for us.

A women came to me and was concerned that she could not loose weight. We started the session and her energy was blocked in  her belly. She started to have memories of a loss of a child and how much pain and sadness she still had in her body. She began to cry and started releasing years of grief and at the end of the session when she got up she not only felt lighter and happier within her, she also noticed that her pants were much larger after the session than they were when we started. She was amazed of how much "weight" in the way of energy was released from her body by letting the emotions move.

I am extremely grateful and blessed to be doing this type of healing work with others and am most certainly Divinely Guided always.
I hope you enjoy these stories. I have written many of them in my book,  Spiritual Medicine.
Until next time...

Blessings for Cancer and other illnesses

Hi and blessings to you
I wanted to share one of the blessings from my book, Blessings of Gratitude.
After I went through my experience with thryoid cancer I wrote this book and all the blessings came through in the most beautiful way.
I found that all the prayers and blessings I did personally and got from so many people globally really helped me to recover quicker and to come back to inner peace and balance.
One of the blessings I want to share is dedicated to all those personally and all those that we know
going through cancer and other illnesses.
My love and light goes out to each and every person on this healing journey. Please pass this on to someone you know who may be going through the journey with cancer....

Here is my blessing for cancer
"How would your life be different if you could bless your cancer and be willing to see it as a blessing, whether you are healed or not? This can be quite challenging I know, especially whnen we are first diagnosed. So many people are experiencing alot of pain and fear associated with  having cancer. I know that I did.
What if you could see this as an opportunity to embrace your fears, ask for support and getr more in touch with your faith and inner strength?
It was quite a shock to me when I was told I had cancer and I had a hard time at first recognising all the ways it was a blessing in my life. Some the blessings I experienced included an opportunity to slow down, let people be there for me and receive more love.
For many it can be a time of receiving love and nurturing from others. If you are someone who has always been the care giver and  have had a time time asking for help and letting your self receive, now is your chance to practice. People who care about you do want to be there to unconditionally love and support you."

The blessing:
I bless my cancer and send loving thoughts and energy into every cell of my body. I release and let go of my emotional burderns, fear, guilt, resentment and negativity that I may have repressed.
I am grateful for this opportunity to surrender to Divine Spirit for love, healing and letting go of my need to control. I deserve to be loved and to get the help I need. I am open and grateful for it all now. I allow my mind and body to be  healed  and I thank God for al lthe grace and love that surrrounds me."

Peace and blessings, Laurie
